Restaurants on Norfolk Island
Norfolk has a surprisingly large variety of eateries providing a range of experiences and cuisines. You could eat somewhere different every day for a month and there still be a couple of places that you would need to carry over to the next. Of the 35 or so eateries dotted around the Island you can choose from a range of cuisines including the stayers like chinese and pizza. For a more unique Island experience, a progressive dinner is an excellent way to experience the best of Norfolk hospitality and discover some of the Island's local cuisine such as Mudda and Pilhai.
Progressive Dinners
A four course meal, enjoyed a course at a time as you progress through various island homes and restaurants.
Island Fish Fries
These are held twice weekly at Puppies Point (transport provided) or often at other venues in aid of various local clubs. They almost invariably feature Norfolk's superlative Trump-eter fish, cooked in a special, ultralight batter and accom-panied by salads, etc.
